I truly wish I had access to this remarkable application during my younger days. Radar guns used to be quite costly, and pitching coaches seldom prioritized "throwing hard" over "accuracy". Thankfully, we now possess iPhones and iPads capable of capturing slow-motion videos at 240 FPS, which are readily available at every game.

My goal in creating this app was to provide softball players and parents with a simple yet effective tool to not only measure pitch speed but also analyze pitching mechanics.

IMPORTANT: This app does NOT rely on your reflex time to calculate pitch speed, unlike many "stop watch radar gun" apps. Instead, it utilizes the powerful camera technology of your iPhone (preferably in 240 FPS slo-mo mode) to accurately capture the pitcher's release point and plate crossing—resulting in highly consistent pitch speed calculations.
